Description
An elegant olive green granite with speckled flecks, 20mm Green Granite Gravel is also known as Welsh Green.
Green Granite Gravel Uses
This angular gravel is an eye catching and strong colour, which makes it great for:
- Driveways, paths and patios
- Pots
- Edging and borders
- Highlighting planting schemes
A darker shade of green when wet, and lighter when dry, it is used mainly for ground cover and drives, giving an elegant, subtle look to your outside space. It is best laid 4-5cm deep, and the actual size ranges between 14-24mm.
What to lay under green granite gravel
You will want to prevent weeds from growing through the gravel. To avoid this, simply lay a weed prevention membrane before you spread the gravel. This means water can also drain away from the graveled surface, leaving it puddle-free.
Place the membrane on smooth, compacted ground. Also, it can easily be cut to fit the shape and size of your area.
