Dove Grey Limestone Gravel 10-14mm

A beautiful light grey, the Dove Grey Limestone 10mm is often referred to as Derbyshire Peakstone. It is inexpensive decorative gravel and is best suited for creating paths and groundcover.

This can provide a lovely contrast in planted areas to really make the plants stand out. Ultimately, it’s a great value, all round product. Dove Grey Limestone Gravel is light grey/white in colour when dry and deepens to a dark grey when wet.

What To Lay Under Grey Limestone Gravel

This gravel is best laid at 3-4cm deep, and the actual size ranges between 7-16mm. 14-20mm Dove Grey Limestone is also available if you require a larger size of gravel, which is more suitable for driveways.

To prevent weeds from sprouting through the gravel, simply put down a weed prevention membrane before you lay the gravel. This means water can also drain away from the graveled surface.

Place this on smooth, compacted ground. The membrane can easily be cut to fit the shape and size of your area.
