At Resins ‘R’ Us, we believe success isn’t just measured in sales, square metres laid or pallets moved. It’s also about what you give back, and who you show up for when it matters most.
This Christmas, we were proud to donate 75 chocolate selection boxes to Danby Wood School in Norwich – a specialist school supporting children who haven’t thrived in mainstream education and, in some cases, have experienced exclusion.
These are often the young people who need encouragement the most… but don’t always get it.

Danby Wood does vital work helping pupils rebuild confidence, re-engage with learning and feel part of something positive again. It’s not always an easy job, and schools like this don’t always have the loudest voices or the best reputations – but that’s exactly why support matters.
“It’s just what we do”
Dan Lake, Managing Director of Resins ‘R’ Us, explains why giving back is built into the business:
“Supporting our local community is part of our values; it’s what we do. If we’re in a position to help, especially where it can make a small difference to young people who need it most, then we will.”
For the pupils at Danby Wood, the donation wasn’t about chocolate. It was about being seen, included and thought of – something many children in alternative education settings don’t always feel.

More than materials
We’re known for supplying resin-bound aggregates, systems and support to installers and homeowners across the UK – but we’re also a Norfolk business, rooted in our local community.
Whether that’s backing local schools, supporting grassroots projects or simply doing the right thing quietly, we believe businesses have a responsibility to give back where they can.
This Christmas, that meant 75 small boxes… and hopefully 75 big smiles.
From all of us at Resins ‘R’ Us, we’d like to wish the pupils and staff at Danby Wood School a very Merry Christmas…and thank them for the important work they do every day.
