Visitors to SEA LIFE Great Yarmouth can now enjoy smoother walkways thanks to the installation of brand-new resin-bound surfaces.
The project was delivered through a collaboration between ourselves and installers Studios East Ltd, working closely with the SEA LIFE Great Yarmouth team to ensure the highest quality finish.

Daniel Harvey (left) of Studios East has designed and installed a new resinbound project for Julie Curtis, Operations Manager of Sealife Great Yarmouth, using our products (pictured with our Operations & Transport Manager, Matthew Brister).
New flooring and steps were crafted using resin-bound materials on the customer side of the ocean tank. This latest project at SEA LIFE Great Yarmouth not only improves accessibility for all visitors, but also brings new, visually striking resin flooring to enhance the experience.
As part of the project, new in-tank theming, created by Studios East Ltd was installed, consisting of a 17th century shipwreck depiction. Sound and lighting was also installed by The Firminger Group Ltd.

Matthew Brister, our Operations & Transport Manager, said: “It’s fantastic to see how high-quality resin-bound surfacing can transform spaces, not just aesthetically but in terms of accessibility. We’re proud to have supported Studios East Ltd and SEA LIFE Great Yarmouth in creating an environment that is welcoming and inclusive for all visitors.”
Completed ahead of the busy spring and summer season, these improvements will make it easier for wheelchair users, families with pushchairs, and all guests to navigate the popular coastal attraction comfortably.
Daniel Harvey from Studios East Ltd, commented: “We chose the resin bound material as it offers excellent permeability and slip resistance, ensuring a safe and long-lasting solution that improves the overall visitor experience. The new resin bound system not only enhances accessibility but also complements the Centre’s indoor spaces with a clean, durable and visually appealing surface.”

This upgrade comes as SEA LIFE Great Yarmouth, prepares for one of its busiest times of year, welcoming thousands of visitors to experience its renowned marine exhibits and family attractions.
Julie Curtis, Operations Manager at SEA LIFE Great Yarmouth added: “Our guests’ comfort and accessibility are top priorities for us. The new resin flooring and stairs make a noticeable difference to how easily families, wheelchair users, and all visitors can enjoy everything we have to offer. We’re delighted with the result and grateful to our local partners for their expertise.”
