Only requiring the use of a resin bound primer to ensure that its bonded and unable to shift away from the base. In order to remain SUDS compliant, we always recommend the use of porous no fines concrete, if not, ensure there is a suitable soak-away so no puddles can form within the Resin Bound system.
Asphalt – Asphalt surfaces can also be suitable for resin bound, but they must be in good condition. A smooth and stable can provide a solid foundation for the resin bound system. We recommend 50mm porous open graded asphalt in order to remain SUDS compliant, if not, ensure there is a suitable soak-away to avoid puddles forming in the resin bound system.
